Confederate Cavalry
[edit]Berean Hunter changed my correction for the name of the Confederate Cavalry. Stuart's command was a division at this point in the war, a point he admits in his comment, nevertheless he reverted my correction. The command was not elevated to a corps until 9 Sep 1863. I'm not going to get in some stupid reversion game on this. The command was a division, not a corps. CsikosLo (talk) 17:04, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- It is the common name that the unit is known by and the general policy. The article to which the link follows is Cavalry Corps, Army of Northern Virginia. Folks now know this unit by that name. The transient designations during multiple reassignments of wartime will do more to confuse the uninitiated reader.

Kurz & Allison main illustration
[edit]Is there something better than can be used for the infobox illustration? The Kurz & Allison depiction of Jackson's shooting is so inaccurate that in my opinion it's worth than nothing. Hog Farm Talk 20:15, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
